What about me?...

of common knowledge is how music moves us in ways spoken words can't,
and much to be said is resumed in 3:something minutes, sometimes more, other times, less.
Damien Rice achieves it in even less than a minute if he wishes.

as melodic as his music might sound, let us not be fooled, its nerve breaking as peaceful in a matter of seconds, but its intensity makes it work either way.

been having a hard time finding my own emotions, confusion regarding how i truly feel is frequently present lately, despise whatever impression, Damien is of no help.

see, we can all both hate and love something or someone at the same time, i don't know what love nor hate are about, but emotions, feelings I know a few little things.
Situations, circumstances in life can bring much joy to one person, waking up to NOT smell the roses is the tragedy waiting to happen, its the end of that.

having somewhat of a radar to read people, it goes OFF, oblivious, until one day you wake up feeling tired of human behavior in general.

going over the honesty trail of reality, simply adore Damien's bluntness, when he says:
"But do you really feel alive without me?
If so, be free
If not, leave him for me
Before one of us has accidental babies
For we are in love
"
In his lyrics to Accidental Babies, and God you can't help to think, how many mistakes do people have to make before coming to senses, how much denial and fear are to be dosed out? but makes me glad to hear that much sincerity.

songs like Accidental Babies, Volcano, Prague, 9 crimes, Rootless Tree, Silent Night, The blower's daughter, are in my personal little world, a succession of how i feel, the disturbing part of it all is no matter what order they're, i am compelled to walk away, ..that's what i am good at, practice makes perfection, right?

Well I held you like a lover

Happy hands and your elbow in the appropriate place

And we ignored our others, happy plans
For that delicate look upon your face

Our bodies moved and hardened
Hurting parts of your garden
With no room for a pardon
In a place where no one knows what we have done

Do you come
Together ever with him?
And is he dark enough?
Enough to see your light?
And do you brush your teeth before you kiss?
Do you miss my smell?
And is he bold enough to take you on?
Do you feel like you belong?
And does he drive you wild?
Or just mildly free?
What about me?

Well you held me like a lover
Sweaty hands
And my foot in the appropriate place

And we use cushions to cover
Happy glands
In the mild issue of our disgrace

Our minds pressed and guarded
While our flesh disregarded
The lack of space for the light-hearted
In the boom that beats our drum

Well I know I make you cry
And I know sometimes you wanna die
But do you really feel alive without me?
If so, be free
If not, leave him for me
Before one of us has accidental babies
For we are in love

Do you come
Together ever with him?
Is he dark enough?
Enough to see your light?
Do you brush your teeth before you kiss?
Do you miss my smell?
And is he bold enough to take you on?
Do you feel like you belong?
And does he drive you wild?
Or just mildly free?

What about me?
What about me?
